The Interactive Metronome (IM) is a brain-based rehabilitation assessment and training program that utilizes a metronome to provide real time millisecond audio and/or visual feedback to improve cognitive and motor functioning. It has been proven, through evidence-based research, to directly improve the processing abilities that affect attention, motor planning, and sequencing. This, in turn strengthens motor skills, including mobility and gross motor function, and many fundamental cognitive capacities such as planning, organizing, and language. IM can significantly increase your patient’s ability to process information leading directly to improvements.
